Dine Out Today!

Dine Out TODAY! All day at local restaurants and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Anacortes Boys & Girls Club! Restaurants include Anacortes Rockfish Grill, Bobs Chowder Bar, San Juan Lanes Bar & Grill, Thai Season, The Farmhouse, Frida’s Gourmet Mexican Cuisine, The Majestic 5th Street Bistro and the Anacortes Pizza Factory.

La Conner Club’s Family Night

More than 40 youth, parents and volunteers shared food and fun at the La Conner Club’s Family Night on Wednesday. The highlights of the evening were the family foosball tournament, family crafts and honoring of youth of the month, Chloe and Mason.

January Family Night!

The Mount Vernon Club had a great January Family Night! Families celebrated the night by honoring the Chinese New Year complete with chopstick relays & yummy Chinese character cupcakes! We are so thankful for everyone who attended and we can’t wait to see you all at the next family night on February 29th!

First Family Night of the new year!

The Anacortes Club had a BLAST at our first Family Night of the new year! 19 families and a total of 57 people joined us for dinner, some fun New Years activities, and a lot of fun gym games. We also gave four free Club Memberships to some very excited families!

Youth of the Month – January, 2012.

Amanda P.

Amanda P., Age 8 3/4
Amanda attends Mary Purcell Elementary School and has been coming to the Club for a year. She enjoys doing Knitting Club, arts and crafts and Power Hour while she’s at the Club. Amanda was nominated for this honor because she makes a difference at the Club with her sunny personality and big smile.








Ryan P.

Ryan P., Age 11
Ryan attends Central Elementary School and has been attending the Club since he was 6 years old. Ryan participates in numerous Club activities, like Power Hour Junior Staff, Science Club, Drama Matters and all the fun happenings outside. Ryan was honored as Youth of the Month because he enjoys participating and is helpful when Club Members need help.







Parker R.

Parker R., Age 12 3/4
Parker attends Cascade Middle School and has been coming to the Club since 2009. You can find Parker playing pool or hanging in the Teen Room, or participating in Keystone Community Service trips and helping around the Club. Parker was chosen as the Teen of the Month because he is quite helpful and makes the Club a better place when he’s around.

Torch Club Gearing Up For National Service Project

The La Conner Club members are collecting items for the Oasis Teen Shelter for their first Torch Club service project. In addition to helping others, Torch Club members learn how to work as a team, communicate and problem solve.

The Anacortes Club started off the week with some Parachute Tag! Members had to work together to get the parachute high enough in the air that they could run underneath it before it fell back down!

2012 is off to a FANTASTIC start! Club members in Mt. Vernon didn’t waste any time getting back into the swing of things. Members kicked off the first day back with a full day of volleyball, chess, cooking and lots of arts & crafts! We are so happy to welcome everyone back and we look forward to a great year!!!
