Anacortes Club Celebrates The Arts

Club members perform “Dog Tricks” for the Club’s Got Talent! Show

The Anacortes Club just wrapped up week three of Summer Day Camp. Week Three’s theme was Best of Broadway, a week full of learning about the Arts. Activities included members making their own sock puppets and marionettes, performing plays, a “Club’s Got Talent!” show, as well as many special guests! Our special guests for the week included Willow McLaughlin with the Anacortes Community Theatre’s Class ACT program; Glynna Goff-Eloe with Fidalgo Dance Works; Carole Leander director of the Anacortes Middle and High School choir, and Ryan Bart, the Magic Man who did a special performance for the Club. Morning kids were also treated to a walking trip to the Anacortes Community Theatre where they were given a tour of the theatre by director Cheryl Reid, and were also invited to a very special preview of a Class ACT summer camp performance. Club members had a great week filled with tons of fun activities to share with their family and friends. View pictures of this fun week.

The Anacortes Club is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5:30pm. Day camp is $75/week, and drop in begins at 12:00pm. Join us this week for a Magic and Mystery theme!
