Anacortes Club Enjoying Summer Camp

Club Members worked in teams to create cardboard cars which were later used at the Club’s “Drive In Movie”

The Anacortes Club just wrapped up week 2 of Summer Day Camps. Following a theme of “Road-trip USA”, Club members enjoyed different daily themes such as a “Wild Wild West” day where they ran a horse-shoe obstacle course, made sherrif’s badges, and played games such as Sherrif’s and Bandits. On Friday the Club held a “Route 66” day, where members worked in teams to create and paint their own cardboard cars, which they were able to use later in the day when the Club made itself into a Drive-In Movie theatre to view the movie “Cars”. It was a great week at the Anacortes Club! We look forward to 6 more weeks for fun with all of our members, new and old. Check back each week to see more pictures of our Summer Day Camp and afternoon programs.
