Anacortes Club in 4th Parade

Club Members wait for the start of the Parade

The Anacortes Boys and Girls Club joined over 1000 members of the Anacortes Community in the Fourth of July Parade. 25 Club members, 6 Staff members and 2 parents walked the parade route from 3rd and “O” to Causland Park, with Community Council Chair Phillip Prud’homme juggling behind them. 6 of the Club members were invited to ride in a classic army vehicle, waving behind the group. Thank you to all of the Club members who participated in this fun even! Over 100 Free Trial-Memberships were passed out to kids along the parade route, while younger children recieved candy and waves as well as a group cheer of “GREAT FUTURES START HERE!” We hope you all had a FUN and SAFE Fourth of July!
