Anacortes Hosts April Family Night

Youth of the Month pose with Community Council Chair Philip Prudhomme

The Anacortes Boys and Girls Club enjoyed a night of Family Fun on Tuesday, April 17th, as part of the National Boys and Girls Club Week celebration. Families enjoyed a free taco dinner, a parents vs. kids game of Medic, decorating their own family picture frame, as well as helping the Club plant starts for our new Club Garden. The Anacortes Club also recognized its April Youth of the Month and Homework All-Star at the event, awards were given by the Anacortes Community Council Chair – Philip Prudhomme. At the end of the night, families enjoyed a fun game of “Not My Hands” where the parents used their own hands to feed their child pudding as a race. A total of 93 guests joined the Anacortes Club for this GREAT night! To be a part of the fun yourself, be sure to visit one of our other three Skagit County Club’s the rest of this week for Family Night.
