Anacortes Teens Collect 200lbs of Food For Salvation Army

Anacortes Teens Weigh Food Collected For Food Drive

Teen Members at the Anacortes Boys and Girls Club spent the afternoon on Tuesday, May 22nd, picking up bags of food for the Salvation Army Food Drive. Teens planned the food drive and distributed signs with the Salvation Army needs, then returned a week later to pick up the food from community porches. Overall the Teens collected just under 200lbs of food from around the community. The food will be given to the Anacortes Salvation Army Food Bank to help feed families in need. Thank you to the Anacortes Community for their generous donations.
