Celebrating National Craft Month

Members using wire and corks to create unique sculptures

Nine La Conner members so far have entered the National Artist of the Month Contest. This contest which is sponsored by Fiskars, invites Boys & Girls Club members from all over the county to submit a photograph of their best arts and crafts work.  The artwork should fit within the publicized monthly theme.
Each month the winning artwork will be posted on Boys & Girls Clubs of America website and the artist will receive a $500 U.S. Savings Bond. The artist’s Club will also receive a $500 award to support arts programming.
This month, the theme was “Celebrate National Craft Month” (by creating mixed media projects)
