Club Members with Healthy Lifestyles Coordinator Jacob Sevieri

The Anacortes Club has had a great time adding in Daily Challenges to its Triple Play program. Led by Healthy Lifestyles Coordinator Jacob Sevieri, Club members have been focusing on Daily Challenges each day from 3:00 to 4:00pm. Each week is based on a different theme with which members complete a different challenge. Our first week of challenges focused on Basketball. Members completed challenges with excercise and drills. This past week was completely fitness related. Members did running, stretching and drills in an effort to be more active!

In addition to Daily Challenges, Jacob has started our Healthy Habits program for Club Members between the ages of 6-9. Club youth who participate in Healthy Habits will understand the benefits of eating smart and being physically active. Lessons in the Healthy Habits program include Stamp Out Proportion Distortion, Eating for Energy, and Building Healthy Bones and Teeth.
