Family PLUS Night – March 2013

Sedro-Woolley Smart Girls presenting their collective work of art.

Sedro-Woolley Family PLUS Night went off without a hitch. There were over seventy individuals in attendance and a lot of new faces. Thank you to Pat Grenfell for supplying dinner for the event and also to the Foresters Group for serving it up to our Members’ families. Deserts were provided by volunteer Renee Buchanan-Treats & Sweats by Renee. The main activities for the evening surrounded our Money Matters and Career Launch programs. Members and their families participated in the ever popular Career Launch scavenger hunt, where participants gathered adults’ signatures based on their present or past employment experiences. Oddly enough, there was no one in attendance who was currently working in construction and no one who’s first job was at McDonalds. We were also proud to present certificates to our March Youths of the Month and were surprised with a gift from our very own SMART Girls group… A Boys & Girls Club painting that they all spent two weeks working on.
