Family PLUS Night – March

Electricity Guy

Puget Sound Energy’s volunteer electrician demonstrates to the kids and their families how to avoid potentially dangerous electrical situations.

Thank you to Puget Sound Energy for attending the March Family PLUS Night at the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club. As the Family PLUS program sponsor, volunteers from Puget Sound Energy were joined by helpers from the American Red Cross and the Safe Kids Coalition to provide emergency preparedness and first aid activities to over 80 Club kids and their families. PLUS stands for Parents Learning Uniting Serving and this was one example of how Sedro-Woolley families and the community come together to help our kids be successful and play safe.

Dinner was prepared and provided by longtime Club supporter Pat Grenfell and was served by our wonderful volunteers Lyle, Verna, and Darlene from the Foresters Group of Skagit County. Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this a great night to celebrate National Boys & Girls Club week.
