La Conner Members learn the intricacies of video game design.

Game Tech provides Club Members ages 10-13 a fun introduction to the field of video game development, and principles of game design, animation mechanics and software. Working both digitally and non-digitally, members learn to animate a character and begin the process of designing their own video game.

Anacortes Starts Skill Tech

Skill Tech in Anacortes

The Anacortes Club has been spending time during Club Tech each Tuesday and Thursday to work on Skill Tech. Skill Tech is a Boys & Girls Club program focused on teaching Club members basic computer skills through animated interactive lessons. Each Club member will work through the different levels of Skill Tech 1 and 2 in order to move on to Game Tech – a program where they will learn to create their own computer game!Print
