Good Character & Citizenship

Members give back through our Touch Club and Keystone Club service programs.

All members become engaged citizens, involved in the community and registered to vote, and model strong character.

Good citizenship is integral to a young person’s ability to become a productive, caring and responsible citizen.

We support this outcome by:

  • Provide a Club Experience that appeals to youth.
  • Engage members in Club and/or community-based service.
  • Teach rights and responsibilities of citizenship.
  • Introduce concepts of good character, encourage civility and tolerance, and recognize good behavior.

To determine whether Members are on track to achieve this goal, there are several indicators we can measure.

Elementary School Indicators

  • Club and community service.

Middle School Indicators

  • Club and community service.
  • Lack of involvement with juvenile justice.
  • Conflict resolution skills.

High School Indicators

  • Club and community service.
  • Lack of involvement with juvenile justice.
  • Conflict resolution skills.
