SW Keystone Helps At Community Kitchen

Sedro-Woolley Keystone Club volunteered at the Open Door Community Kitchen at Central United Methodist Church in Sedro-Woolley on Monday, December 17th.  Each month our Teens help with set up, clean up, and assisting in serving hot meals to needy families in their community. The Kitchen provides free meals to the community for an entire week every month. Projects have included general upkeep of the facility, meal prep, dining room setup, post dinner cleanup, and playing with kids that come in for the evening.

Assisting at the Open Door Community Kitchen is just one project that our Teens are involved in and they always return with smiles and good stories of making an impact on their community. If you have questions about our Year of Service, please contact Program Director John Garman at (360) 856-1830.
