Keystone Helps at The Well

Keystone Club Members help provide dinner to those in need.

The Keystone Clubs from Sedro-Woolley and Mount Vernon Boys & Girls Clubs worked together to serve dinner to the community at, The Well on Tuesday, October 28th.

The Well is a church located in downtown Mount Vernon that offers free dinners to the community during the last five days of the month to help families in need and the homeless. Each month, the Keystone Club from the Sedro-Woolley Club helps with setup, and serves dinner to families in Skagit County, and then helps to clean up the event.

The group served over 200 dinners and said they love helping at The Well because they feel like they have made an impact where it matters most.  Matt and Cheryl Kaufman have been providing this service for several years and rely on the help of community volunteers like our Keystone Club Members to make the dinners a success. Thanks Matt and Cheryl for continuing this vital service and for giving our Club kids the opportunity to make a difference.
