Keystone teens assist the Washington Trails Association as part of the national Year of Service.

On Saturday, February 23rd, nine Anacortes Club teens and two Staff members headed out to Sharpe Park to participate in a Washington Trails Association (WTA) work party. From 8:00am Р3:00pm, Keystone Club teens helped build a new section of trail by digging up roots and moving large rocks.

Club staff and members were joined by six WTA volunteers and nine other community volunteers at the work party. Everyone had a great time. Teens participated in the trail work party as part of the BGCA National Year of Service, each earning seven community service hours.

Thank you to the Washington Trails Association for showing us how much fun community service can be.
