King Tut Exhibit

Club Members visit the Butterfly Exhibit after leaving King Tut

Members of the Anacortes Boys & Girls Club received an early Christmas present in the form of tickets to the Seattle Science Center’s King Tut exhibit. Thanks to a generous donation, 13 Club members joined Club staff for a day of fun and learning at the Science Center. We started our trip with an Imax film about the Pharaohs and mummies of Egypt. Next we took a break to check out the dinosaur exhibit before heading over to take our spots in line for King Tut. Everyone had a great time in the exhibit, learning about Ancient Egypt and seeing statues and other artifacts before entering the tomb of Tutankhamen and experiencing all of the artifacts collected from his tomb. After the King Tut exhibit there was still a little bit of time to stop by the Butterfly and Insect exhibits, where we learned about bugs and even got to touch a sheep brain!

Thank you do our generous donor for such a fun trip to start off our Winter break!
