LC Visits Humane Society
On Tuesday, November 19th, the Brave Heroes Torch Club of La Conner took a trip to the Skagit County Humane Society for a volunteer orientation. Led by Service Learning Coordinator, Kurt Wambaugh, the Brave Heroes spent the first 45 minutes of their visit learning the basics of handling the animals that are housed in the Humane Society. They also got a chance to sit down with the lead staff and brainstorm some projects they want to take on as part of their commitment to Protect Animals With Service, or PAWS this year. The Brave Heroes will begin again next week on the 27th by socializing cats & kittens.
Thank you to the Skagit County Humane Society for welcoming the Brave Heroes Torch Club and working with them to better Protect Animals With Service.
