Organization Seeks ED
The Boys and Girls Clubs of Skagit County are seeking a motivated and professional person with a positive “can do” attitude who enjoys leading change. Candidates should be happier building rather than maintaining and excited by the opportunity to build on the foundation of a well-established organization and take it to the next level.
The Executive Director serves as the chief operating, fund development and professional officer of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Skagit County (BGCSC) and reports to the organization’s Board President. He/she works in partnership with the Board to create BGCSC’s strategic, business and fundraising plans and is responsible for implementing plans and meeting or exceeding established goals on or under budget. She/he monitors progress against plans and provides useful, accurate and timely status reports to guide Board decisions. The Executive Director provides strong leadership, shares vision, inspires Staff and Board members to perform at their highest level and creates as well as identifies strategic opportunities for the organization.
In accordance with the elements of competence established for Boys and Girls Club executives, the Executive Director ensures that the organization serves young people who most need its services through outcome-driven club experiences that deliver priority outcomes in safe and welcoming facilities.
