Santa’s Workshop

Club members make fuse bead ornaments during Santa’s Workshop at the Anacortes Club.

Members at the Anacortes Club enjoyed a special day at Santa’s Workshop on Tuesday, December 18th. When Club members arrived they were greeted by a Club transformed into work stations where they could make gifts for family members. Santa’s Workshop included four different stations:

Station One: Fuse Bead Ornaments – Club members spent a careful amount of time creating ornaments with fuse beads, using shapes like Christmas trees, snowmen, stars, and more! When they finished, staff added a string to each piece, making the ornament tree-ready.

Station Two: Hot Chocolate Gift Sets – Members were able to pick out a Christmas mug, then work with a staff to fill a baggie with Hot Cocoa mix and marshmallows, for a ready made cup of Hot Chocolate. Club members then decorated bags to hold their mugs in and finished them off with bright red ribbon.

Station Three: Picture Frames – Monica The Art Lady opened up the art room for station three, allowing Club kids to use foam stickers to decorate and then paint their own Christmas frame. Club members wrapped their own frames, ready to share them on Christmas day!

Station Four: PLAY! – Each hour introduced a different Christmas game in the gym for Club members to take a break from their hard Christmas work. From a tag game to Santa’s Sleigh, to Capture the Present, to a fun Minute To Win It challenge called the “Reindeer Nose-Dive”, the gym was a fun place to be!

Santa’s Workshop was a fun day for all of us at the Anacortes Club!
