Combating summer learning loss is of utmost importance at the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club. In order to launch youth into their next school year successfully, the staff at the Sedro-Woolley Club have dedicated the first hour of programming everyday to engaging Members in Chess Club, Creative Writing, Silent Reading, or Math Races. Members earn points each day for active participation in either of these learning activities to spend on prizes and computer time each week. Engaging each Member everyday in reading, writing, math, and critical thinking will help to launch a successful start to the next school year.
