SW Construction Update

Progress on the new location for the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club

Things are happening at the future site of the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club. Pictured here: Fisher and Sons working on the concrete pad and cement columns for the new covered play area, which will be located between the Main Club and the future Teen Center.

The new site for the Sedro-Woolley Club is about 1000 feet from its current location. The Club, which has been located behind Cascade Middle School since April 2001, will be moving to the north end of the middle school campus, along McGarigle Road. Because of a generous investment from the McIntyre Family Foundation, the Sedro-Woolley Rotary Club and the support of many community partners, including the Sedro-Woolley School District, the Boys & Girls Club is also breaking ground on a new Teen Center. The Clubs will resume programming in mid-September.

Check back often to stay informed about the progress on the new site. If you have further questions about the relocation of the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club, please contact SW Club Director Jill Reid at jreid@bgcskagit.org or contact our main office at 360-419-3723.
