SW goes Rafting – Spaces Available!

Thanks to the generous support of the Skagit Community Foundation, Foothills Toyota, and the George B. & Ruth Elizabeth Ferguson Advised Fund – the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County is excited to start our TOE (teen outdoor expeditions) program for Club Members in 7th grade and up.

Teens! Join us for river rafting on Saturday, October 27! Teen Outdoor Expeditions, also known as TOE, has spots open for the inaugural Sedro-Woolley TOE trip, which is river rafting the Skagit River with Wild & Scenic River Tours. Deadline to register is Wednesday, October 24 at 6 pm. This trip is open to any teenager in middle or high school – they do not have to belong to the Boys & Girls Club.

TOE Information:

  • $30 Fee for this trip (Normally $90!)
  • Rafting Preparation Meeting: Thursday, October 25 from 6 to 630 pm.
  • Saturday, October 27: Meet at the Boys & Girls Club at 7:45am.
  • Arrive in Marblemount by 10am.
  • Lunch will be provided on the River!
  • Return to the Club for Parent Pickup at 6 pm.
  • Trip Provides: Lunch, Snacks, Wet Suits, Life Jackets, Splash Jackets, Helmets, Fleece, and Transportation 
  • TEEN PROVIDES: Please wear a swimsuit under your clothing, and bring along an Under Armour/Wool Layer/Fleece AND Wool Socks! Bring a change of warm clothes, two towels and your sense of adventure!
  • Disclaimers and permission slips required – signed by parent/guardian.
