SW Teens Bake Caramel Apples
Just before Halloween, the Members of the Sedro-Woolley Teen Center tasty treats by baking caramel apples. The cooking project was a special Halloween session of the Healthy Habits Program. Teens got to learn how to make an easy snack that’s healthier than most Halloween treats.
First, Teens washed apples and cut them in half. The next step was to cut out the cores and fill the hollow area with caramel squares. The apples were finished with a sprinkling of cinnamon and baked at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. After all their preparations, Teens were able to enjoy their fall desserts.
