SW Torch Club goes Caroling

Tis the season in Sedro-Woolley as our Torch Club visits the Country Meadow Village-Assisted Living Facility on Wednesday, December 19th for a jolly round of Christmas Caroling. The songs were hand selected by our Members and included “Jingle Bells”, “We Wish You A Merry Christmas”, and “Feliz Navidad.” There was much anticipation and excitement as the Torch Club kids practiced their lines on the ride over. The show was a great success and the residents are always excited to see the group of cheery Boys & Girls Club kids.

Torch Club is a service learning program for our 4th-6th grade Members.  Many of the Torch Club Members have earned over 10 hours towards their Year of Service since September and are excited for the upcoming new year. If you have any questions or comments about our Service Learning Programs please call Program Director John Garman at (360) 856-1830.
