Torch Club at Food Bank

Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club Members displaying the industrial sized oatmeal bags that they just emptied into family portions for distribution.

Another successful Boys & Girls Club trip to the Helping Hands Food Bank Monday, December 10th. This time the project for our Sedro-Woolley Torch Club Members was to repackage 600 pounds of oatmeal into family sized portions for distribution on Wednesday. This was our third service project with the Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley since September and the kids are making quite an impression on the organization.

Making community connections like the Helping Hands Food Bank is a key component to achieving our goals for our Year of Service. Our Members are well on their way to becoming responsible and caring young citizens.

Torch Club is a community service club for 4th-6th graders. If you have any questions regarding Sedro-Woolley Service Projects please contact John Garman at (360) 856-1830.
