Last Wednesday, the Sedro-Woolley Teen Center Program Assistant started an Arts & Crafts project that took on a life of its own in a way no one could have predicted. The project was simple: Make animals out of pipe cleaners. It wasn’t long until the Teens made so many animals that they decided they needed an environment to contain them all.

That was when the project took on a life of its own. Teens went about finding whatever cardboard and supplies they could get their hands on. By the end of the next day, the teens had created three unique homes, an aquarium, a chicken farm and a Jackson Pollock-themed zoo for their pipe cleaner animals to inhabit.
