Teens learning about Medical Technology

Sedro-Woolley teens took a field trip to attend the open house of the Northwest Career and Technical Academy on Thursday the 7th as part of the Career Launch program. The field trip was part of the programs goal of ensuring that all our teens are aware of local opportunities for post secondary education and career options. At the open house teens listened to an informative speech about what courses the school offered and then got the chance to explore and get more information about the classes that interest them. The Digipen (video game design) and Culinary programs were by far the most popular though teens also learned about Medical and Veterinary Technician courses.
