Sedro-Woolley Torch Club

SW Torch Club Members work on a project for the Humane Society. If only all projects looked this fun!

Torch Club Members from the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club made cat toys to donate to the kitties at the Skagit Valley Humane Society. The Torch Club will be visiting the Humane Society on October 25, where they will donate the kitty-cat toys created today, along with the dog cookies made by our Cooking Club last week. The Torch Clubbers will also volunteer wherever needed at the Humane Society.

Torch Club at the Sedro-Woolley Club is for ‘tweens in grades 4-6, and the group is facilitated by Service Learning Coordinator Bryan Reeder. In the past three weeks the Torch Club has volunteered at the Open Door Community Kitchen and the Helping Hands Food Bank. We appreciate these community entities allowing the ‘tweens the opportunity to give back!
