Torch Club at the Library

Partnering with the Sedro-Woolley Public Library is of paramount importance to our Torch Club’s dedication to the Year of Service Initiative. This week our Members spent their time at the Club creating decorations for the Library that exhibit diversity and togetherness in our community in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Other projects that we do with the Library is make bookmarks that the Library then hands out to their readers. Each month our Members come up with their own theme, this month was MLK, Jr. Day. Soon they will be working on Presidential bookmarks and Valentine bookmarks for February.

Our Torch Club Members are hard at work volunteering every chance they get. Next week they will be working at the Helping Hands Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley and they hope to see you there. If you have questions about our Service Learning programs feel free to contact us at 360-856-1830 or email Program Director John Garman at johng@bgcskagit.org
