Torch Club Helps at the Food Bank

Twenty-Three Torch Club Members from Sedro-Woolley volunteered at the Helping Hands Food Bank on Wednesday, January 23rd with Club volunteer Renee Buchanan.  This time the project was to repackage 300 pounds of oatmeal and 80 pounds of pasta into family sized portions for distribution. This was our fourth service project with the Food Bank in Sedro-Woolley since September and the kids are excited to help more and more families in their community.

Our Members have been hard at work and spread throughout their community all school year. Helping at the local is one of several service projects that the Club Members have participated in as they work towards their Year of Service. Since Sptember, our Members from the Sedro-Woolley Boys and Girls Club have earned over 1,000 hours of community service!
