Torch Club at Friendship House

Friendship+House (2)
On Tuesday, Oct. 5th, Torch Club Members from the Sedro-Woolley Boys & Girls Club volunteered at the Friendship House in Mount Vernon. Every day, Friendship House in Mount Vernon serves free meals to the community, serving over 50,000 meals this last year. With the Fall and Winter months fast approaching, it was fun for these Torch Club kids to pass out over 50 cups of hot chocolate to those who came for dinner. Thank you Friendship House for giving these Sedro-Woolley Club Members the chance to help serve their community.
Torch Club is designed for Club Members grades 4th-6th, focusing on community service as well as service to the Club. If you have questions about or would like to get involved in our Service Learning programs, please contact Club Director, John Garman at (360) 856-1830.
