On Friday, September 14th, the Anacortes Walgreens celebrated its 10th anniversary with a Hot Dog fundraiser, benefiting the Anacortes Club. From 11 until 3 staff members and parents from the Club were outside of Walgreens selling hotdogs, chips, soda, and water for $1, all proceeds of which went straight to the Club. Along with food, people were able to buy $1 raffle tickets for four different prizes. The raffle will continue through the month of September, the final goal being $2000. In order to help reach our final goal, Walgreens Manager Nick Chahley and Community Council member Mark Lawrence have agreed to shave their heads if the goal is reached. Raffle tickets can be purchased at Walgreens.

The Anacortes Club thanks Walgreens for their awesome support as well as the donation of all supplies needed for the fundraiser. The Club was able to raise $200+ with the fundraiser, not including the sale of raffle tickets.
